In Matthew 8 we can see ourselves in the stories of opportunities presented, opportunities forfeited, and demonstrations of spiritual power both good and evil. In the midst of it all, we find Jesus of Nazareth, whose invitation to us is the same as it was to His hearers in the first century: “Come. Follow Me. Invest your life in Me. Trust in Me.”
