It is foolish to give our lives to gain something we cannot keep. Our earthly days are limited, so we discipline ourselves to honor the Lord because the choices we make in this life determine our rewards in the life to come. In whatever season we are in, let’s give God our best—not because He needs anything we have but because He has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of His Son.
