When we choose Christ as Lord, we are born of the Spirit—the new birth—and the Holy Spirit lives in us. As spiritual beings we live in a tension between time and eternity, so we must welcome the person of the Holy Spirit without measure if we are going to have the power of God we need to live on earth as mature Christ-followers investing in eternity.
